Corner shower enclosure with outward opening hinged door, with a clean and essential design thanks to the integrated handle (rather than the more traditional knob) that ""disappears"" into the jamb upright. The Door + Fixed side solution is suitable for corner installations with door widths from 59 to 99 cm. The fixed side can be any depth from 59 to 119 cm. The Iradas shower cabins are made of Stainless Steel, a metal that guarantees elegance and durability. Besides being strong and non-deformable over time, Stainless Steel offers natural protection making it particularly suitable for humid environments and in contact with water. Metal components are available not only in classic polished and satin finishes but also in PVD finish, a technology that gives Stainless Steel the desired color: Polished and satin black, Polished and satin light gold, Satin copper, and Satin bronze. The PVD finish does not risk 'peeling off' as happens with chrome plating or painting of aluminum. PVD technology (metal vapor deposition) does not compromise the metal's corrosion resistance properties and actually increases Stainless Steel's resistance to acidic solutions, bases, solvents, and scratches.
The integrated handle enhances the linear style of the Iradas door
When the door is closed, the Iradas handle integrates with the jamb upright to create a continuous Stainless Steel line that frames the 8 mm tempered glass.

The essentiality of the lines combines with extreme attention to detail
Looking at the inner side of the handle, you see a soft bumper that cushions the closing stop, the balloon gasket that runs along the profile and prevents water leakage when the door is closed and two 3 mm diameter screws that are emblematic of the Calibe approach.
The two screws match the colour of the door (in this case with a brushed bronze finish) and are different from each other. Because of their function, the uppermost screw is flared, while the lower one is rounded.
All of Calibe's choices are aimed at optimising the performance and aesthetics of shower enclosures and not at making them easier to produce.

Opening and closing the door: actions that let you feel the quality of the product, the fluidity of the movement, as well as the solidity of the door and the weight, thickness and rigidity of the glass. With Iradas doors, you can also appreciate the ergonomics of the original Calibe-designed knob and have a tactile as well as visual sensation of the quality of the finishes of the stainless steel parts, also available in PVD finish. What you hear is also part of in this experience: the door is sturdy but it makes contact with the jamb upright with a soft sound, with the gasket adhering perfectly to the upright.

Material quality and customised production
If the shower tray base for the Iradas shower enclosure is wider than 80 cm, the total clearance of the open side can be divided between the door and a fixed screen, according to your needs and preferences as to the width of the door part and the width of the fixed part.
In the image, the fixed screen is to the right of the jamb upright, but the position can also be reversed. The screen has a stabilising tie-rod which is also made to measure and has a telescopic movement for better adjustment when installing the cabin. The tie-rod is also used to stabilise the fixed side for corner installations.

Dam profile for optimal watertightness
Elegant in shape and functional in practice, the dam profile of the Iradas shower enclosures prevents water from escaping and adapts to any type of shower tray: raised, flush with the floor or lowered.

Stainless quality
The sealing profile that acts as a dam on the floor runs to the wall profile, which is protected by a cover. The wall profile supports the original Calibe design hinges that carry the glass panels and allow the fluid movement of the door.
Profiles and hinges are made of stainless steel, available in polished, brushed and also PVD finish. The same applies to knob, the stabilising tie-rod and any other metal part of the Iradas collection.

Hinge movement and adjustment system
The stainless steel hinge contains an adjustment system that optimally determines how the glass is attached so that it fits perfectly even with out-of-plumb walls and without altering the straightness of the vertical profile and the shower enclosure as a whole.

Wall attachment masked by a stainless steel cover
With its minimal essentiality, the vertical cover masks the technological core of the wall profile and hinges, and also hides the wall attachment of the shower enclosure. The cover is applied to the profile through the magnetic disks that can be seen in the image (the black disks).
Hinge covers
From the inside of the door, it can be seen that the hinges are also protected by perfectly finished covers and secured by screws, which are also coloured to match the finish of the profiles. The cover protects the glass adjustment system for perfect alignment with the masonry walls.
Also on the inside, the wall profile is protected by a cover on which the gasket rests, preventing water leakage.
Internal cover of the wall profile
Removing the gasket for clarity of exposure, you can also appreciate the excellent quality of finish of the wall profile internal cover and the familiar attention to detail in the choice of colour of the cover fastening. The image also shows the exceptional thickness of the glass used in Calibe shower enclosures. Information necessary for product customization order finalization and installation
Calibe tailors every product to the centimeter based on the specific needs of the buyer, producing truly custom-made shower cabins: genuine unique pieces. Custom production ensures perfect installation, without ever needing to improvise temporary solutions to fit the cabin into its space. Before being delivered, the shower cabins are assembled and tested at Calibe's headquarters, and they are delivered with most components already assembled and not in a kit box. These are also attentions that Calibe considers fundamental to ensure maximum satisfaction for those who choose its shower cabins.
The width of the shower cabin door and walls must be defined with the utmost precision.
With custom profiles, it is also possible to meet particular needs related to bathroom architecture: walls not in plumb, sloped ceilings, protrusions in the walls.
Consultants at retail points will help you define all the details necessary for the finalization of the purchase order
It is necessary to specify:
the position (right or left) of the handle
the stainless steel finish
the type of glass (transparent, extra-clear, coloured, frosted, reflective)
the position (right or left) of the corner fixed side
the external dimensions of the shower tray, and type of installation of the tray
Measurement taking and installation
Measurements and installation must be carried out by specialized professionals. Retailers use qualified installers both for taking measurements before the order and for the installation of the shower cabin once it is produced and delivered. Alternatively, those who purchase the shower cabin can use the services of Technical Assistance Centers.
